My Name is Brittany Smyth and I am on an adventure to follow my passion for photography.

As a photographer in Ottawa, Canada and I have the pleasure of capturing fabulous moments in people's lives.

Random things about me....

I am tall... like really tall. People like to point this out to me often, as if it is something I may not be aware of. However at 5' 12'' I am surprisingly proportionate.

I am a lover of DIY projects. I love building new things and bringing old gems back to life. Whether it involves a sewing machine, circular saw or glue gun... I'm usually down to give it a try. You will likely see some of these projects popping up now and then on the blog.

I have a wonderful husband who pushes me to pursue the things I love. I wouldn't be the person I am without him... and it is just a perk that he is so darn handsome.

Why Photography....

I fell in love with photography when I was looking for a photographer for my own wedding. Not only did this spark my passion, but it also lead me to my fabulous wedding photographer (and now friend) Laura Kelly. I love the way that she and so many other photographers capture the love between two people. I think there is nothing better than the memories of amazing moments and wonderful times in our lives. I want to help create the images to keep these moments fresh in our minds.
