Hana and Chris Engagement ~ Moore Farm

Hana and Chris are getting married at the end of November and they are a super laid back and cool couple. When I first met them over coffee to chat about photo details Hana told me she had originally wanted to get married at the Moore Farm Estate. Apparently they don't do weddings there though... major bummer. But when we were trying to pick a location for their engagement session the Moore Farm was an obvious choice.

When we got there, it turned out Hana had neglected to mention that it was actually private property. We pretended to not understand the french No Trespassing sign as we were climbing over the fence.

Hana is going to make the most stunning Bride!

Malaika and James Couple Session ~ White Lake

Malaika has been a friend of mine for a very long time. She is probably one of the sweetest people that I know. When I told her I was starting a photography business she was so excited for me and immediately booked a photo session for her, her partner James and their pooch Henry.

Now, I am not really a dog person. I know saying that will blow all your dog-loving minds. I didn't grow up with pets (I blame my Dad for pretending he was allergic to everything... no joke he was never allergic). I did however grow up near my Aunt and Uncle who used to breed Golden Retrievers and German Shepherds.... so they hold a special place in my heart. Now Henry is a German Shepherd and Husky mix... so I instantly loved him!

For the session I went out to White Lake where Malaika and James live. They have a lot of land and an amazing big barn. Such a perfect place for a photo shoot!

Come one... balloons on their own are amazing, but team them up with Henry and my heart melts a little.

James was such a trooper and you can tell how much he loves Malaika. He was down for absolutely anything and even agreed to tie the balloons to Henry for us... although he thought we were a bit insane. He even pulled a few slugs off the side of my shoe after I walked around in some tall grass - bug removal always wins my heart. Thanks for such a great evening you two!

Anik and Maxime Engagement ~ Mooney's Bay Beach

Anik and Maxime are getting married next Summer and we met up at Mooney's Bay to take some engagement photos. They brought along their adorable kids and we did some family photos while we were there.

Seriously Anik... could you be more beautiful?!

I wish I could rock pigtails this well!

The most important question is why do I not own this sweater??

Marilyn and Allan Engagement ~ Hogs Back Park

This beautiful couple is getting married in just a few weeks and I have the great pleasure of photographing their wedding! I was already excited about it, but when they showed up at our engagement session with a bunch of super fabulous outfits I immediately got even more excited! Marilyn has an absolutely beautiful smile and Allan is quite the gentleman .... I think he almost offered to hold my bag a few times throughout our session.
